Andrew has studied the arts and artists of Europe and the world collecting inspiration through the beauty of the coast and countryside on his travels and home town of Exmouth,  Devon. Receiving regular commissions for his work he can often be found around the Exe Estuary photographing and painting the sun drenched colourful elements of water, sky and earth in oils, watercolour and pastel. Pottery and sculpture is also a regular past time inspired by natural organic traditional forms.

Andrew strongly believes it is necessary to gain a creative insight into what inspires and makes a client happy, their personal likes interests and tastes and how they have always wanted to live their lives. Even their favourite art, poetry and music can be considered in the design of a sensual house that seeks to be an inspiring, beautiful, happy yet functional place to live. The clients full participation is therefore welcomed and expected throughout the design journey.

Andrew often likes to design space within the interior for a piece of his own artwork or sculpture in the interior seeking to enhance the clients personal living experience which relates to the brief, the architecture and the landscape. Surround yourself with designs that you like, and you will lead a happy and fulfilling life.

The signature sketch image is key to unlocking the poetry of light, space, quality of material and landscape. This always comes before entering the virtual world of the AutoCAD modelling suite. Every client gets a bespoke design hand sketched for their wall at the end of the project along with their Architect's Certificate, in the spirit of a hand crafted Architecturally Designed House and the hope of an Award.
